Testimonials.

  • The coaching provided by Mattia and Kevin specifically addressed the hurdles international students face, such as understanding visa sponsorship complexities, communicating my value as an international candidate, and adapting my application strategy to better align with employer expectations. I especially appreciated the guidance on approaching companies that were more likely to sponsor H1B visas, which made my job search more efficient. You both offered practical strategies to overcome these barriers, helping me remain resilient and optimistic despite the competitive environment.

  • The guidance I received helped me better understand how to highlight my unique strengths and experiences as an international student, making me stand out in a competitive job market. • Your coaching was invaluable in helping me navigate the unique challenges of being an international student in the U.S. job market, particularly during a slow hiring period a few months after graduation. With visa time constraints and financial pressures, Kevin’s support was both strategic and empathetic. He helped me leverage my skills by focusing on upskilling, refining my resume, and connecting me with alumni and industry contacts for meaningful networking opportunities. His understanding of my visa situation, coupled with consistent encouragement, helped me approach my career as a marathon rather than a sprint, ultimately leading me to secure a role at a top-tier company.

  • I think one of the challenges international students often encounter is the lack of connections in industry. You helped with connecting people that have similar backgrounds and better approaches to find the right job.

  • Kevin and Mattia's guidance was invaluable in helping me navigate the unique challenges international students face in the job market. They made complex topics like work authorization, the STEM OPT process, and H-1B requirements easier to understand, which allowed me to approach interviews strategically and address potential employer concerns with confidence. • A specific instance when Kevin and Mattia's guidance made a huge difference was during my initial attempts to network and have coffee chats with industry professionals. At first, I felt unsure about how to approach these conversations, but their advice on how to engage with professionals and make meaningful connections was invaluable. They taught me how to reach out effectively and ask insightful questions that built rapport and mutual interest. One standout moment was when they advised me to focus on quality over quantity in my job search - networking and applying selectively instead of submitting dozens of applications without connection. This strategy helped me secure interviews with companies that aligned with my goals, and I developed a solid network of professional contacts.

  • The coaching I received from Mattia was super helpful in navigating today’s job market. He shared practical suggestions on how to approach the job search strategically, breaking it down into manageable steps that made the whole process feel less overwhelming. His advice on organizing daily tasks helped me stay focused and on track, knowing that each step was moving me closer to my goal. Overall, his guidance really boosted my confidence and made me feel more prepared to tackle the challenges of the job search.
